Air Show
 Wings Over Wine Country Air Show | August 16th to August 17th, 2008
Antique aircraft, warbirds, and modern day aircraft will perform flybys and be parked on the ramp for an up-close and personal look. One of the exciting features of the Pacific Coast Air Museum's (PCAM) "Wings Over Wine Country" Air Show is the opportunity to touch and feel the awesome power and might of these historic machines which have meant so much to our great nation's history. Military flybys inspire you with their precision and power and some will be on static display when not in the air. Visitors will have a chance to climb aboard a jet fighter or walk through an open cargo/transport plane. Vendors will display models, T-shirts, caps, books, and crafts which will be available for purchase. And of course there will be a wide variety of food and beverages to satisfy your hunger and thirst.

Downtown Farmers Market
 Santa Rosa Downtown Market | May 21st to August 27th, 2008
Celebrating 20 Years of Food, Family & Fun! The Santa Rosa Downtown Market (Wednesday Night Market) is Sonoma County's largest and most popular Farmer's Market and street faire. Every Wednesday night, from mid-May thru August, the Downtown Market brings the community together to celebrate and showcase the bounty of Sonoma County by offering fine foods, fresh produce, a variety of entertainment, and handmade arts and crafts. The Santa Rosa Downtown Market fills the downtown area along Fourth Street from B Street to D Street. The 2008 Market Season will run from May 21 through August 27. Festival
 HARMONY FESTIVAL 2008 | June 6th to June 8th, 2008
The Harmony Festival continues to evolve and grow this year more than ever before. This year's Festival has expanded greatly in size and scope with these major new features: Camping throughout the Festival grounds all weekend long. Opening on Friday (camping check-in 2 PM Friday, Festival begins 5 PM Friday). Legendary musical lineup. In addition, there are many other exciting changes afoot as well. This year the Harmony Festival will occupy the entire Sonoma County Fairgrounds. We are opening up many new areas of the Fairgrounds, including new camping areas and a new grassy lawn area for music performance,the Redwood Theater which becomes a second major music stage that will showcase many excellent bands. Group camping on the Fairgrounds is encouraged this year, especially for theme-based camps. Show up on Friday and stay for three days and nights of partying!

The Peanuts Cartoon Strip Collection is the heart and soul of the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center. Numbering nearly 6,000 drawings for daily and Sunday pages, the Museums collection represents a wide breadth of Schulzs thematic work from 1950 to 2000. Also included in this collection are several hundred preliminary sketches for Peanuts.

 Luther Burbank Rose Parade and Festival | From May 17th, 2008
When is the Parade? Saturday, May 17, 2008 from 10 AM to 12:30 PM in Downtown Santa Rosa. Welcome to the 114th Annual Luther Burbank Rose Parade & Festival, one of Sonoma County’s most honored traditions and one of the oldest and largest events of its kind in Northern California. This year’s event takes a look at how we live our lives from reducing our carbon footprint to taking life to the edge with extreme activities. PARADE ROUTE - Please Note Route Change Most parade entrants will stage in Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Building Parking Lot and along Stevenson Street. (If your walking unit contains young children, elderly or offers an extenuating circumstance, you have the option of staging on Sonoma Avenue and entering the parade line up at that point.) From the Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial the Parade will move out the back northwest corner of the parking lot to Stevenson Street, moving westward to South E Street. Parade turns north on South E Street to Third Street. Parade turns west onto Third and continues straight to B Street where the Parade completes its route. In addition to traditional Festival activities this year’s event will include extreme sports exhibitions in the X-Treme Zone, a Green Zone, an X-Treme n Green Iron Chef Competition, and the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America will be showing off their skills with their annual Scout-O-Rama. Please note the Festival has been moved to Downtown Santa Rosa and will predominately be located in Courthouse Square and on Fourth Street from B Street to E Street.
