The Mojave Desert is filled with a variety of things to see. From the beauty of nature to man made wonders, you can "Stay & Explore & So Much More!
Day trips from Barstow are an hour or two away. Take I-15 north to Baker, home of the "World's Tallest Thermometer" & the gateway to Death Valley & the Mojave National Preserve. Go south to Palm Springs & stop at Joshua Tree National Park on the way. Or stay & play in Barstow for a hike through Rainbow Basin, or a walk back in time at the Mojave River Valley Museum, the Route 66 Mother Road Museum or the Western America Railroad Museums.

30 Miles south of Barstow, you'll find the community of Victorville, former home to the Roy Rogers/Dale Evans Museum.
