Discover the Farm Trail
Plan a picnic and save room for tasty treats gathered along the way as you linger at farms and produce corners, but save a place for nuts, freshly made cheeses and dried fruits and those famous raisins! Experience our iris, herbs and lavender gardens, visit a dairy and see cheese processed.
Concrete Canvas – the Murals of Sequoia Valley
Complementing our natural scenery are clusters of historical wall paintings, in fact, some say we have more murals the Florence Italy! These public art works are located in many communities and commemorate important events in our country, honor people that have made a difference in our lives and memorialize our local history and culture. Call us today for a mural trails map!
Land of the Giants
Home to Sequoia National Park, the Sequoia National Monument and Sequoia National Forest, the worlds largest and the oldest living thing on the planet – the giant Sequoia. The General Sherman tree is more than 275 feet high and 102 feet in circumference. And if that’s not tall enough – the highest peak in the United States, Mt. Whitney is located here (although access is from the “other” side!).
Come on in, the waters fine
The Sierra Nevada foothills provides an ideal location for water sports and outdoor recreation. Lake Success, located east of Porterville and Lake Kaweah, located north of Woodlake, offer swimming, fishing, boating, and camping.
