Soar on high with the help of a boat-towed parachute.
Sitting on the shores of Lake Tahoe is pretty darn spectacular. Now imagine zooming up in the air for an eye-popping aerial view of North America's largest alpine lake. In summer and fall, various companies let you strap up in a harness and take to the skies, floating above the azure lake while suspended from a boat-towed parachute. Check with the North or South Lake Tahoe visitor's bureaus to find the parasailing locations nearest you.
