See the opulent architecture of yesteryear in Redlands.
With the tagline "City of Beautiful Homes," Redlands makes a fantastic destination for fans of architecture and elegance. Entire neighborhoods are filled with beautifully maintained Victorian and Arts and Crafts-era houses, ranging in size from bungalows to mansions, many with equally well-maintained grounds. Some of these handsome homes were built by wealthy citizens wintering in the city, while others belonged to early residents who struck it rich in the a burgeoning citrus industry. Enjoy a drive or walk along city streets (West Highland Drive feels like you're driving back in time). For a closer look at one iconic home, visit Kimberly Crest House and Gardens , open for touring Thursday through Sunday, 1 to 4 p.m.
Presented by Temecula Presents Luna Negra’s distinctive style blends the discipline of ballet with the dynamic movements of contemporary dance, infused with the explosive energy of Latin and Afro-Caribbean dance forms. Since 1999, Luna Negra has served as a springboard for Latino contemporary choreographers to give expression to their stories and bring new life to the cultures of their communities. In 2010, award-winning choreographer Gustavo Ramírez Sansano succeeded Eduardo Vilaro as artistic director. Celebrating the richness and diversity of Latino culture, Luna Negra Dance Theater has risen to the forefront of American contemporary dance.
