San Bernardino- Your Destination for Recreation

At the crossroads of the major I-215 and I-10 freeways, San Bernardino Valley is located between the metropolitan cities of Los Angeles and Palm Springs. The historic Route 66 Highway travels through the Inland Empire, a cultural region within a short drive to some of California's best-known attractions and destinations. The city of San Bernardino is located at the base of the San Bernardino National Forest in San Bernardino County, the largest county in the U.S.

Tour the Homes of California's Citrus Barons

Redlands, a "City of Beautiful Homes", showcases neighborhoods of Victorian and Arts and Crafts-era houses, ranging in size from bungalows to mansions. Some were built by wealthy citizens wintering in the city, while others were built by early residents turned rich by a burgeoning citrus industry.

Enjoy a drive through the city, taking in their beautiful and historic facades. If you would like to see what one of these homes was like, check out the Kimberly Crest House and Gardens .
