Grab the Reins on Pismo Beach

Ride horseback on trails leading to dunes and beautiful beaches.

Whether you like to stretch out on a beach blanket and read some pulp fiction, or get up and play in the surf and sand, you can find what you fancy on Pismo Beach’s long, white-sand oceanfront. The area offers plenty to do, including golfing, driving four-wheel-drive vehicles through an impressive set of sand dunes, surfing, and fishing from a 1,200-foot-pier. If you want to explore on horseback, you'll find numerous stables offering guided trail rides that wind through Oceano Dunes and lead to lovely beaches. While families love this fun activity, it's also a decidedly romantic way to ride off into the sunset.
