At 1,942 feet long, the Oceanside Pier is the best place to view the incredible sunsets along this stretch of coast. Another fun way to while away the day--try your hand at fishing from the pier. No fishing license is required. And be sure you stop in at Ruby's Diner , located at the end of the Pier. Order up a super-thick milkshake for a cool treat.
